Thanksgiving has always been one of my favorite holidays. It is the one holiday that is about getting together and being thankful for what you have. Don’t get me wrong, I like all holidays and paid days off. For me, Thanksgivings hold the best memories of loved ones still here and ones departed. From watching the family elders nap after eating to helping pick up a chess board and pieces from the floor after being scattered in a “rules” disagreement. (I hold to this very day that I was right ?) It is hard to believe that 2017 has flown by so fast that we are just one week away from Thanksgiving and the start of the holiday season.
