I haven’t posted an update on Z Chronicles book 4 in over a week. Two excuses for that, not very good ones but they are all I have to offer up.

First, I am not very good at practicing what I preach. I sit down to write everyday but let’s face it, I am more of a binge writer than an everyday writer. So, on some days I get between 5 and 10K words while on other days I get a few sentences. Like I said, not a good excuse, goes along with so and so talked me into stopping for one beer and then made me stay for six lol.

Second, my brain is caught up in a post apocalypse sci-fi world that has spawned two book series. One that is during and right after while the second one is twenty or thirty years later. Sometimes it is hard to go back to a project that has sat for over two years and fight back the new ideas. They fight to see the light of day and get shared with the world.

And last but not least, (I know I said only two and this is number three ?) I have been getting to know some sci-fi and post apocalypse authors better in various groups and as FB friends. These authors are good if not great at what they do, and their success shows it. Every now and then I must remind myself, “You just do you,” and let the chips fall where they may.

So, that’s my excuses and I am sticking to them lol. Should have a Z Chronicles book 4 update today.
